Our comprehensive course on lymph node pathology
The course is structured around meticulously crafted modules, beginning with foundational concepts in lymph node anatomy and histology and progressing to advanced topics in lymphoid neoplasms, infectious processes, and molecular diagnostics. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the pathophysiology, histological features, and diagnostic techniques used to evaluate reactive and neoplastic lymphadenopathy.
Four dedicated classes focus on case-based scenarios, providing participants with real-life examples to enhance their diagnostic skills.
Key topics include the pathological features of Hodgkin and Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, T-cell and B-cell malignancies, and metastatic lymphadenopathy. Special focus is placed on the differential diagnosis of lymph node enlargement, with comprehensive sessions on the molecular and immunohistochemical techniques used to differentiate benign from malignant processes. In-depth coverage of advanced diagnostics, such as lymph node biopsy techniques, flow cytometry, PCR, FISH, and genetic testing, will enable participants to refine their ability to interpret complex pathology results.
The course also addresses specialized areas such as pediatric lymphadenopathy, lymphoma staging, the role of lymph nodes in systemic diseases like HIV and autoimmune conditions, and the diagnostic challenges presented by immunocompromised patients. Practical case studies, featuring real-life histopathological slides and diagnostic dilemmas, ensure that participants gain hands-on experience in analyzing and diagnosing lymph node pathology.
