Dr. Haimanti Sarin  is currently Director and Head, Cytopathology, Medanta Hospitals, Gurgaon and has been previously associated with institutions of high repute such as Artemis Hospitals, and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. An MD Pathology from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi, she has completed her fellowship(cytopathology) from the University of Miami, USA.

She is actively devoted to academic advancement of the field of cytopathology: 

• 24 indexed publications (12 in last 5 years) 

• Invited Faculty lectures at National and International Pathology meetings 

• DNB teaching (2013 - ongoing) – Guide and Co-guide for 8 DNB theses, mentored Cytopathology & Oncopathology fellows 

• Faculty for the national DNB program (NBE), 2021 and 2022 

• Supervised and co-author for 22 posters by DNB students and fellows (6 of these won 1st prize, including awards at European  Congress of Cytology) 

• Successfully completed NABH Hospital Assessor course. May 2023

Dr. Lipika Lipi  is currently Associate Director, Histopathology, 

Medanta, the Medicity hospital.

Her areas of clinical/Research Interest include Liver & Gastrointestinal Pathology, Oncology. She has received training at GB Pant institute of Medical Education and Research, New Delhi.

She has also honed our skills through Short clinical fellowships in GI-pathology from Mayo clinic Rochester and Brigham & Women’s college, Harvard University, Boston.

Dr. Pawan Kirtani is currently working as Senior Consultant, Surgical Pathology & Oncopathology at Core Diagnostics, Gurugram.  He is enriched with more than 17 years of experience across multiple leading super-speciality and diagnostic centers across Delhi / NCR. Adept in diagnostic surgical pathology, immunohistochemistry, and oncopathology, with a strong focus on maintaining diagnostic accuracy and clinical relevance.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, has played a significant role in medical education—mentoring postgraduate medical aspirants and DNB students, and contributing to academic development through structured training and case-based learning. Passionate about staying at the forefront of oncopathology, has served on the editorial board of a leading international oncology journal, contributing to peer reviews, content curation, and maintaining scientific integrity in publications.

Recognized for a commitment to academic excellence, multidisciplinary collaboration, and continuous professional development within the evolving field of histopathology.

Dr. Mallika Dixit is currently Deputy Lab Director at Core Diagnostics. An expert in Histopathology, Hematology & Quality Management Dr. Mallika Dixit brings over 15 years of expertise in histopathology, immuno-histochemistry, hemat-onocology, and quality management, driving innovation and precision in diagnostic services. Her journey has been defined by  passion for excellence, fostering collaborative team environments, and implementing robust quality standards to enhance patient outcomes. 

She has a  strong track record of active involvement with national and international accreditations such as NABL and CAP, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of laboratory excellence.

Dr. Mallika Dixit is the course mentor for lymph node, IHC in solid tumors, and other histopathology courses

Dr. Nishika completed her PDCC Renal and transplant pathology from Apollo Hyderabad, and is currently Consultant Nephropathologist  at Core Diagnostics.

She was formerly head of department of Pathology, Star Hospitals, Hyderabad, and  Former lab Director, Medfaith Pathlabs, Hyderabad.

Dr. Gaurav Khanna, MD, is currently serving as Assistant Professor at  Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad.

 With a strong academic foundation  and advanced training at premier institutes, Dr. Gaurav Khanna  brings a wealth of expertise to the course. After completing senior residency at AIIMS, New Delhi, and a fellowship in Hepatopathology at ILBS, New Delhi, he has trained under some of the most respected names in Neuropathology and Hepatopathology. He has presented fascinating cases and delivered lectures at national and international platforms. His work is well-recognized, with multiple publications in leading international and national journals, and a passion for sharing real-world diagnostic insights with learners.

Dr. Gaurav Khanna is the course mentor for our hepatobiliary pathology course

Dr. Aseem Tiwari, Senior Director, Transfusion Medicine at Medanta- The Medicity Hospital.

Dr. Tiwari brings over 25 years of post-MD experience in Transfusion Medicine to this course. As an educator at a leading post-graduate institution for more than 12 years, he has shaped many minds in the field. With more than 145 research papers to his name, Dr. Tiwari is at the forefront of new advancements in Transfusion Medicine. Dr. Tiwari is a founding member of the IMA blood bank,  Prathama blood bank, and is currently serving as Vice-President of ISTM. He is a Certified NABH assessor and certified Transplant coordinator from NMDP, US, and Member of Institutional Review Board for over 14 years. His contributions to multiple textbooks have significantly influenced the field, earning him recognition as a global thought leader and sought-after speaker. Dr. Tiwari is known for pioneering the integration of technology in transfusion medicine education. Dr. Tiwari's passion for Transfusion Medicine is infectious and approach will transform your perspective on this critical field, making complex concepts accessible and engaging.

Dr. Ankita Jaiswal-Govil is a distinguished expert in hematology and flow cytometry, currently leading these specialties at CORE Diagnostics in Gurugram. With over a decade of experience, she excels in onco-hematology, including bone marrow aspiration and biopsy morphology, advanced immuno-histochemistry, diagnostic and minimal residual disease (MRD) flow cytometry, and next-generation sequencing for hematolymphoid malignancies. Dr. Jaiswal-Govil's academic excellence is evident from her MBBS and MD in Pathology at BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur, where she received 12 gold medals and four certificates from the District Magistrate for securing first position every year, culminating in the title of best medical graduate. She completed her senior residency at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences and Maulana Azad Medical College.

Dr. Ankita Jaiswal is dedicated to advancing the field of hematology through research and education. She actively teaches hematopathology at continuing medical education (CME) events and international conferences as an invited guest speaker. Beyond her laboratory work, she is deeply committed to medical education and community outreach, organizing numerous workshops and conferences nationwide. 

Dr. Anusha S is a distinguished expert in neuropathology and is currently working as consultant neuropathologist and Head of the department at first Neuro Brain and Spine Superspeciality Hospital, Padil Mangaluru . She completed her MD Pathology from Maulana Azad medical College, New Delhi, followed by  Post doctoral fellowship in Neuropathology from NIMHANS.

Priorly, Dr. Anusha was  Assistant Professor in Department of Pathology, KMC Mangalore. She has published multiple papers in national and international journals of repute and a book chapter in Forensic histopathology. Her expertise is in Nerve and muscle biopsy interpretation, CNS tumors including squash smears

Dr. Sambit K. Mohanty was a renowned pathologist and a leading educator in surgical and molecular pathology. Dr. Mohanty graduated with 12 gold medals from SCB Medical College, Odisha, and completed his MD at PGIMER, India, and Beth-Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard, where he was named best resident.

Dr. Mohanty  published 207 peer-reviewed papers and has contributed to key texts like the WHO 5th edition of GU tumors. A dedicated educator, he delivered over 300 presentations and conducts regular webinar-based teaching sessions.
